Poeldijk, 15 december 2025 – Between September and November 2025, Onings Holland has sold hundreds of special flowerbulb gift bags, and organized a flowerbulb market, raising a tremendous amount of € 8.150. This money will go directly to ‘De Westlandse Ride’. An event in which Team Onings will participate.

De Westlandse Ride is a two-day cycling event where participants raise money for cancer research and treatment. The bulb market and bulb gift bags are received with growing enthusiasm every year and 100% of the money paid for the flower bulbs goes to charity.

«As a family business rooted in Westland for 90 years, we believe it is important to contribute and give something in return to the community and to this cause,» says Frans Onings. «We’re proud of the result and grateful to everyone who helped by purchasing a bulb package and/or visiting the bulb market.»

Team Onings will continue to prepare for the challenging cycling event in the coming period and remains committed to generate more donations and attention for the Westlandse Ride 2026.
